Family trip to the pumpkin farm!

Today we went to the pumpkin farm and had a wonderful time.  The weather was beautiful, we had a great time being together and playing all the fun activities they had.

We got to pan for "gold coins" in big sandboxes!

Here H is sifting through the sand...

and she found a gold coin!!
Then the kids turn them in and
they get candy or little toys.
A really cute and fun idea!

Next the girls went through the hay bale maze!

V went behind H to "help" her but she pretty
much did it all by herself!

Now for some individual "portraits".  Some of us were pumpkins and some were ears of corn!

We are kind of a "corny" family.
hahahahaha  :)

Anyone up for some farm animals?!?

Oh my, this makes me miss my pig I had in high school!
His name was Norman Alexander Claven.
Anyone guess what my fav tv show was at that time?
Hint: think very carefully about his name.  :)

Let's get lost in the corn maze!!

I love this shot- this is what it
looks like from H's point of view!
The corn stalks seem much higher
and probably a little scarier!

Not only did we have to find our way out
but they also had 6 "stations" set up with
hole punches and we had to find each one
and punch a hole in the paper they gave us.
We only found 4 out of the 6!  It wasn't
that easy, we went at it for about 45 min
and only found the 4.  But it was a lot of fun!

Can you spot V in her lime green shirt?
Hint- it's somewere in the middle!!  :)

I was amazed that this corn stayed so
yellow after seeing so many rotten ears!
So pretty!!

Mmmm, so good!!  haha!

This was very pretty but a huge spider!
Any of you Arkansas residents know what this is?

Awwww.  Love this.

What else did we find to do?!?

Why find a pumpkin, of course!

This is THE one, Toria.  :)
(that's what H calls V in her sweet little voice)

It was uhhmazing that they smiled... and together!!

I have the most amazing family!!!!!

Hayride time!!!

I am lovin my new razorback shirt!!
Woo pig sooie!!  :)

And to end the perfect day- a peek at
the cute little chicks.

Thank you, Lord, for the beautiful day filled
with wonderful memories.
