V and I like to go on mom/daughter dates. We started this after H was born- it was quite a shock to my V to have a baby sister after having mom and dad all to herself for 8 1/2 years! So, these times together made it a LITTLE easier on her. :) Now that H is almost 2, we still and try to have these special times together. Last week we went to The Painted Pig and had a blast! Actually, we went twice because we didn't finish painting our pottery pieces the first time. And we also had to sneak in a trip to the cupcake bakery since it was just down the block. :)

I picked a plate and made it into our family's "my special day" plate.
I just loved this place- the colorful tables and chairs just said "fun and creativity!!"
This was the end of our first day.
Ok, we came back 2 days later and had to make the cupcake bakery our first stop!
Our cupcaks were soooo good.
This was mine- she ate hers too fast and I couldn't get a picture of it. :)
Then we went back to the Painted Pig to finish.
She worked so hard on Frank!
